I'm doing my best, keeping an eye on the news, half watching the direction of the markets, periodically looking to see if any trends become apparent - and what do I get?
Chaos!!!
The markets are bouncing around more vigorously than a Hollywood divorce lawyer.
So, what can one do but sit right down and think!!!
The problem I have is that so much of my trading is based on clearly defined trendlines, largely dependent on the Exponential Moving Averages and where the price is in relation to those. I also only trade the FTSE 350 (I only trade markets I understand fully)
So, until the general FTSE 350 starts showing some signs of doing something other than behaving like a financial yo-yo then my account is going to continue gathering dust.
Any ideas?

There aint too much going on in the world of the FTSE350. Options are kind of limited for any major trends I guess. There have however been some great moves in the Canadian Markets I follow of late.
When you talk about trends, what sort of time frame you mean? Long term trends or short term montn long ones. You may have to be less picky in your chosen markets.
