Well my dabbling with Forex has been up and down with only a very minor (£20) gain to show for my efforts over the last month.

I guess it could be worse since most novices lose money to begin with.

However, the markets have moved into increasingly choppy territory and once again I'm having to leave trading on the shelf.

If you're a trader who trades with trends then you'll probably appreciate how difficult the decision is to put it all on hold for a couple of weeks.

An encouraging sign is that volume of gloomy news regarding the economy has started to lighten.

I don't think we're turning a corner yet but if we reach a bottom plateau then things should start to improve as the dross will have been shaken out of the markets and confidence will start to gain some ground.
