1 - Click on the 'Add blog or forum item' link on the menu
2 - click on the paragraph title 'Blog entry'
3 - write your item title in the 'Subject' box (you must have a title)
4 - write your blog body (you must write something)
5 - scroll down the page and click the 'Submit' button
